Canadian residents: Please call for shipping quotes.

Refund Policy

All refunds will be provided as a credit to the credit card used at the time of purchase usually within five (5) business days upon receipt of the returned merchandise.

Refunds will not include the cost of shipping unless the return is a result of our error.

Please return the item in its original packaging in which it was received. All items must be in new, saleable condition to receive credit.

Shipping Policy/Delivery Policy/Small Packages

We ship all of our orders in the most timely manner possible.

We determine the most efficient shipping carrier for your order. The carriers that may be used are: United Parcel Service (UPS) or FedEx. Sorry but we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. If you’re trying to estimate when a package will be delivered, please note the following: Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing. Federal Express and UPS deliveries occur Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Orders may ship from more than one location.

If your package needs to ship under expedited or other special circumstances, please contact us directly.

Shipping Costs/Truck Freight

Freight items are charged based upon weight and destination of the shipment, costs may vary.

All carriers have an upcharge for residential delivery.

If a delivery is made to your residence and you don't have the means to download the item (fork truck, etc), the delivery will require a liftgate, which will also incur an additional charge.

Heavy Shipping Policy Overview

Most of our products are VERY HEAVY and are shipped by common carrier. (Semi-truck and trailer). Since this is a very heavy product, the trucker is only responsible to get it to the end of the truck, and the buyer is reponsible to download the product. WHILE ACTUAL SHIPPING IS FREE, A FEE WILL BE INCURRED IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE EQUIPMENT TO DOWNLOAD THE PRODUCT. YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK "REQUIRE LIFTGATE FOR DELIVERY" BOX, to provide liftgate delivery for the purpose of downloading. If you don't have the equipment and wish to pick this up at a freight terminal near you, call us at 603-234-2612, and we will make arrangements for you to pick it up at the freight terminal which will save you this fee.

Our shipping costs are calculated on a commercial delivery. FREIGHT CARRIERS CHARGE AN EXTRA FEE FOR DELIVERING TO RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES. YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK "RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY" BOX IF YOU REQUIRE THIS TYPE OF DELIVERY. IF YOU'RE A RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS AND PREFER TO PICK THIS UP AT A FREIGHT TERMINAL, CALL US AT 603-234-2612 and we will make arrangements for you to pick it up at the freight terminal near you WHICH WILL SAVE YOU THESE FEES.

Here is a brief overview of what to expect if you order heavy equipment: The equipment will normally be delivered on a semi with an enclosed trailer. The place of delivery must be easy for this truck to access. The trucker WILL NOT back down your 100 yard narrow driveway. If you do not have a place that offers EASY truck access, then you can arrange to pick up your equipment at a nearby trucking terminal or arrange for the product to be shipped to an alternate location (Your buddy that owns the hardware store) that has truck receiving facilities.

The truck terminal has equipment to help load your truck or trailer. Note: Beaver tail trailers, which have approach ramps that will not support the weight of a forklift, are not recommended for picking up lifts.

Clark Heintz Tools & Equipment does not own nor operate a trucking company. When your product is loaded (from one of our warehouses) onto the commercial truck, it becomes your property. We make every effort to package all of our freight in "bullet-proof" packaging; however, sometimes freight damage does occur. It is your (the customer) responsibility to inspect the shipment and file for any freight damage that may occur during shipping.

We can assist you in the filing process, however, IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILTY TO FILE THE CLAIM! This is the freight policy for damaged goods for all LTL carriers, not just those trucking companies contracted by our company.

The majority of our products are shipped by common carrier, in which case a forklift (or something similar) might be needed to unload the product. It is less expensive to have a product shipped either to a business address or trucking terminal (rather than a residential address).

THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RESPONSIBLE FOR UNLOADING THE PRODUCT FROM THE TRUCK

The customer is always responsible for providing the necessary offloading equipment, unless the lift is picked up at a trucking terminal. If a product is picked up at a terminal, the terminal staff will be able to load the equipment on your trailer or truck. Call us at 603-234-2612 or 603-219-0060 to locate a terminal near you.

Product may also be picked up at our Bow, NH location. Call for availability before coming to pick up: 603-219-0060 or 603-234-2612.
